Charles R. Goulding, Attorney, CPA, MBA Charles Goulding is the President and founder of Energy Tax Savers Inc. Previously he was a Managing Director at Cooper Industries, Inc. in Houston, Texas. Cooper is a major distributor of lighting equipment with sales of approximately five billion dollars. Before joining Cooper, Mr. Goulding was a vice president of Dover Corporation, a six billion dollar diversified industrial manufacturer. A substantial portion of Mr. Goulding's career relates to identifying R&D tax credits related to product and process improvements. He has also operated a private Accounting and Law practice from 1977 to the present. He is licensed to practice law in New York and the U.S. Tax Court and also a CPA licensed in New York. He is admitted to practice before the Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit. His most recent major case was Dover Corporation and Subsidiaries v. Commissioner, 122 TC 324 where he successfully represented the taxpayer. Mr. Goulding is a former President of the New York Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute and a Board Member of the FSC/DISC Association. He is on the Advisory Board of the Interstate Tax Report, International Tax Report, Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Business Taxation. He has published articles in various publications including International Business, International Tax Journal, Euromoney, Taxation for Accountants, The Practical Accountant, The CPA Journal, Corporate Business Taxation Monthly, CCH Journal of Taxation of Global Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Goulding has served as the Co-Chairman of the Taxation of Mergers and Acquisition conferences in Chicago, Houston, New York City, San Francisco and Paris, France. Mr. Goulding has a law degree from Brooklyn Law School (Juris Doctor) and an MBA from Adelphi University. Mr. Goulding also participated in Pace University’s Doctor of Business Administration Program. He serves as an advisor to the Fordham University Masters in Taxation Program. His undergraduate degree is from the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he was a double major in Political Science and Economics. He spent his junior year abroad at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. 
Jacob Goldman, MBA, EA, Engineer
Jacob Goldman is a Tax Consultant with Energy Tax Savers. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Buffalo, an MBA from the University of Maine at Orono and he is an Enrolled Agent, enrolled to practice before the IRS.
He has had previous positions as an Instructor of Tax Preparation for H&R Block and as a production analyst for FMC Corp. where he focused on energy savings through efficient design.
He is the co-author of “Tax Deductions Brighten Return on Lighting Upgrades” Building Operating Management, July 2007, “IRS Releases Building Energy Efficiency Rules” Corporate Business Taxation Monthly, September 2006 and “The Energy Tax Incentives Act of 2005 Contains Some Timely Creative Thinking” Corporate Business Taxation Monthly, February 2006.
He has presented on the Energy Tax Incentive Act of 2005 to numerous corporations, architects, engineers, the BuildingsNY Conference, the West Coast Energy Management Congress(EMC), the United States Green Building Council(USGBC) Long Island Chapter, and at Congressman Steve Israel’s Town Hall Meeting. He has recently completed a speaking tour of New York State sponsored by the Environmental Business Association of New York.
